It’s Monsoon and who don’t love to enjoy green around them, those wet roads and cloudy days. Well, rain is a boon no matter in what way you look at it but at the same time it put us into worry in many ways and one among those and important one is hair damage. Because of high on humidity and rain droplets, it changes hydrogen bond of your hair chemical bond structure, makes it frizzy and ultimately leading to hair damage. Hence it’s very important to take care of your hair in this season, and no need to worry here is some efficient and easy tips to take care of your hair:

  • Shampoo your hair 2-3 times a week

By shampooing your hair 2-3 times a week you can avoid stickiness and removal of pollutant rain droplets from your scalp helps you to maintain hair healthy, strong and frizz free. Hence use a shampoo which provide nourishment to your hair and which is herbal based products to avoid further damage.

  • Oil massaging is must

In this monsoon season massaging your scalp with hair oil is must and should, it keeps your hair follicles hydrated and moisturized and provides proper nourishment to your hair. Make sure you massage your scalp gently without rubbing it.

  • Proper diet

Diet plays a very important role in hair care as it helps in protecting the hair and also strengthening the hair follicles. Your diet should include eggs which are high in iron and protein walnuts which are high in vitamin E and omega-3 and fatty acids. Salmon fish is high in protein and omega-3. Eat lots of vegetables. Spinach is excellent in its high in iron and beta-carotene. Dahi is high in vitamin D and helps in strengthening the hair follicle. Most importantly, drink minimum 8-10 glasses of water each day.

  • Keep your hair dry

Do not keep your hair wet in rainy season use a microfiber towel or cloth to remove extra water after showering and don’t comb your hair when it is wet it makes breakage of hair, also use the right comb to remove your hair tangles. Make sure your comb is clean and have enough space in between tooth, don’t share your comb with anyone, it may spread dandruff and other fungal infections.
